Shopping for a new appliance? Here's how to get your rebate instantly.
- Visit the Marketplace* and choose an energy-efficient appliance that qualifies for a rebate.
- On the product page, check that the instant rebate (if eligible) is already taken off the price.
- Add the appliance to your cart and confirm you’re a SoCalGas customer when prompted.
- After you’re verified, select your payment method and complete your purchase at the discounted price.

- Confirm you have purchased and installed a new, qualifying natural gas appliance within the calendar year in an existing residential property.
- Using the table below, click on the appliance you purchased and installed to complete the online rebate application. You will be asked to submit a photo of your receipt and the model tag on your new appliance as apart of the application process.
- If all program requirements are met, a rebate payment will be provided within six to eight weeks. Applications selected for verification may require additional time.

Rebate payment information
Rebate payments for the Home Energy Efficiency Rebate Program are processed by Choice Digital Corporation, a third-party disbursement processor, on behalf of SoCalGas and may be issued as either a digital or physical Prepaid Mastercard®
The Home Energy Efficiency Rebate Program is funded by California utility customers and administered by Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas) under the auspices of the California Public Utilities Commission. Program funds, including any funds utilized for rebates or incentives, will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis until December 31, 2026 or until such funds are no longer available. This program may be modified or terminated without prior notice. The selection, purchase and ownership of goods and/or services are the sole responsibility of the customer. Customers who choose to participate in this program are not obligated to purchase any additional goods or services offered by manufacturer, vendor, service provider, or any other third party.
